A short documentary that tells the back stories of the homeless living in downtown Chicago.

Homeless in Chicago started as a radio documentary when I was in college at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The premise of the film stems from a very simple idea, "what would happen if I just walked up to homeless people living on the streets of Chicago and chat with them?" I wanted to chat with them about their lives, how they became homeless, and what has come from it. After the radio documentary won a couple of awards (including the bronze award for Best Documentary at the New York International Radio Festival) a friend and I traveled back to Chicago to shoot video to go along with the audio. To watch the entire 15-minute film, you can check it out on my YouTube channel.
